Dimàirt, an 13mh dhen Fhaoilleach 2025, bha an oidhche shònraichte ann mu dheireadh thall! 😃 Chaidh a’ chiad eapasod dhen dràma ùr An t-Eilean a chraoladh air na sgrìnichean againn. Agus chuir sinne, An Lòchran, sgrìonadh beò aig chois 😎

Thàinig 16 daoine a-steach, rud a bha mìorbhaileach fhèin, agus tha e coltach gun do chòrd a’ chiad eapasod ris a h-uile duine. Deagh mheasgachadh de chleasaichean òga agus feadhainn air an robhar eòlach mar-thà. Pàirtean dhen sgriobt a chuir iongnadh air an luchd-amhairc, Gàidhlig gu leòr sa phrògram a dh’aindeoin cleachdadh na Beurla, agus tòrr eile.

Air sgàth soirbheas na h-oidhche, cho-dhùin sinn na h-eapasodan eile a sgrìonadh cuideachd bho sheachdain gu seachdain! Mar sin, thèid eapasod #2 a sgrìonadh Dimàirt, an 21a dhen Fhaoilleach! 🤩 Fosglaidh na dorsan aig 8f, ’s am prògram fhèin a’ tòiseachadh aig 9f.

On Tuesday 13th January 2025, the big night was finally upon us! 😃 The first episode of the new Gaelic drama An t-Eilean was broadcast on our screens. And we at An Lòchran put a live screening on 😎

16 people came along, which was awesome, and it seems that everyone enjoyed the first episode. A good mix of young and well-known actors. Parts of the script that held surprises in store, plenty of Gaelic in there despite the use of English as well, and much more.

Due to the success of the evening, we’ve opted to screen the other episodes live as well, from week to week! In this sense, episode #2 will be shown on Tuesday 21st January! 🤩 Doors open at 8pm, the program itself will start at 9pm.
