Seinn air a' Phìob

An Lòchran were delighted to team up with The Big Music Society for a very special event in Glasgow in October 2015.

Seinn air a’ Phìob/Singing the Pipes was an evocative exploration of the connections between Gaelic song and ancient pipe music, with three of the most significant figures in these intertwined traditions: Kenna Campbell, Rona Lightfoot and Allan MacDonald. They were joined by an excellent supporting band comprising some of the finest traditional musicians in Scotland: Ross Martin, Ewen Henderson, James Lindsay, Calum MacCrimmon and John Mulhearn.
